Planning Your Project
We can help you plan your project - remember that this is a technical construction project requiring an understanding of drainage and loadbearing materials. Our wealth of expertise in construction allows us to advise you as to the best way to get the most out of your project and highlight any pitfalls that may be encountered.
Choose Your Materials
It's best to use block paving on driveways, but other materials and surfaces can also be used, e.g. gravel. You should always try to use the best materials that you can. We can help you choose from the vast choice of materials available, bearing in mind any constraints specific to your particular project.
Agree The Plan
We will provide you with a quote detailing all work that will be carried out for the price given. This means that you know exactly how much your project will cost with no nasty surprises further down the line!
Once you have accepted your quote we will agree a start date, provide you with a timetable for each stage of the work, and give you an approximate completion date.
As with any construction project you should be prepared for a period of disruption around your property. It's likely that we'll be using excavators and other machinery as well as skips. There will be deliveries of materials by lorry, and inevitably there will be some noise. As a courtesy, we always advise that neighbours are notified in advance of work commencing.
Inspection and Payment
As a Marshalls Registered Installer we want you to be 100% satisfied with your new driveway or patio. As such, we will not expect final payment until the project is completed to your satisfaction.
When your driveway is installed, cleaned, sanded and swept, we'll ask you to inspect the work and take payment accordingly.
